I'm Important

Here we go, a day of triumph. Another day of journalistic show-off behaviour. Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story, here is what we are told to say and you will swallow it. Oh, by the way, don’t forget to vote! We writers know it takes hard work to create a good story. Some of this is based on life experiences, truths written in a way that the reader is entertained and educated. That’s called talent, not “Hey, I’m wonderful.”  Would I want to change places with the journalist?   Nah! I’m not quite that desperate!
