A chapter in the book 2024 Gypsy's Tanka
The Tempest
by Gypsy Blue Rose
doing laundry she finds lipstick on his white shirt and that's the last straw — wife throws his things outside during tempestuous storm

Modern Tanka is a Japanese unrhymed poem with 31 syllables arranged in five lines; English tanka is 31 syllables or LESS because Japanese and English syllables are different.
