Ruby Red

Sunset reds ablaze in the sky

Passion burning deep in his heart

Carries a red rose in his hand

Kisses her on her ruby lips

Wanting rises, he flushes red

A ruby gem, a shining ring

Flaming stone on a love's finger

But red is a dubious thing

Color of passion and desire

Sign of love or churning anger
