Harmonies in Red

by BermyBye50

Color Series (3) Contest Winner

Crimson petals on roses bright,

Blushing softly in the morning light,

Scarlet leaves on autumn’s breeze,

Whisper secrets through the trees.

~~~~~~~
Ruby skies at sunset’s close,
A fiery kiss where daylight goes,
Garnet stones in rivers deep,
In nature's heart, their secrets keep.
~~~~~~~

Vermilion dawn breaks the day,

Amber glows in twilight’s sway,

Cardinal wings in flight soar free,

Where red maples dance in harmony.

~~~~~~~
Redwoods soar upwards on high,
As ruby dawn ignites the sky,
Where cardinals in the branches sing,
As roses blush in early spring.
