I don't know if I'm spelling her name right, but Simone Byles was armed with the natural gift for gymnastics as a little girl....
As I think of Simone's conquest to success in the 2016 gymnastic Olympics, I picture her faced off with the odds she had to beat as something in the form of a giant evil eye.
…A giant evil eye that constantly released snakes. Snakes that represented doubt and discouragement trying to hinder Simone from success in the 2016 Olympics.
With the shield of faith from Ephisians 6:10, Simone protected herself from these approaching snakes. And from the sword she carried, which is the word of God from Ephisians 6:10, Simone fired back at this giant evil eye; hitting it with lasers that shot out from the sword like they would a laser gun. This represented Simone's will not to give up despite the odds.
Finally, Simone refused to give up one time too many; which was when this giant evil eye representing the odds Simone faced taking too many laser shots from the sword, which I say again, was the word of God.
The gigantic evil eye shrank and transformed into the form of another human being. Suddenly, consumed by its defeat from Simone's success in the 2016 gymnastic Olympics, once Simone was rewarded her medal, the odds, while in its human form, collapsed and fell forward. As it laid face down, all other feelings of doubt and fear surrounding Simone started exploding....
One boom, then another boom, then another boom, then.... Suddenly, the odds in the form of a human lying face down, along with the exploding feelings of doubt and fear, vanished from around Simone, the Olympic athlete.
"Thank you, Simone," I'm sure her coach said.
"Thank you, Jesus; the man we have to accept to go to Heaven," Simone probably said. Then instantly that day, Simone Byles grew into a famous athletic celebrity, whose story is now a Lifetime movie....
All odds and discouragement were destroyed....
If any reader of this poem is faced with a serious challenge, remember this poem, and apply it to whatever you're fighting to succeed in. But in the process, also trust in the man we have to accept into our lives to go to Heaven which is Jesus. And In case you haven't been told, accepting Jesus is done by praying this prayer, "Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for me and was raised for my justification, I want your blood to wash away my sins, I now receive you as my Lord and savior."
Once we pray this prayer to Jesus with all our hearts, we become saved instantly...
“THANK YOU, SIMONE!”
And a special thanks to her coach, the USA Olympic team, and of course, the Missiah who made that all possible, Jesus Christ.
