Recess

We will always win;

whether the weather is wild,

or immoderately mild.

They must never win;

even as the clouds close in,

this day cannot be defiled.

Sedoka Poem writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a sedoka poem. A sedoka consists of two unrhymed three-line stanzas, each with a syllable count of 5 - 7 - 7.
Often these stanzas go at the same subject from different perspectives, but that is not a requirement.

Thanks to cleo85 for use of the image.
I am assuming that rhyme is an option, since it doesn't say do not rhyme.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
