A God-kissed land

Moon Over Galway

A fool saw Ireland

A land so favored by God

He acted as all fools do

Will he once more sit

By Galway Bay in the night

Just the fool, God, and the moon?

Writing Prompt
Write a sedoka poem. A sedoka consists of two unrhymed three-line stanzas, each with a syllable count of 5 - 7 - 7.
Often these stanzas go at the same subject from different perspectives, but that is not a requirement.


Please note Heaven is a real place and more wonderful than any earthly country. But Ireland and its people are a true blessing to this planet.
