Love's Daisy Chain

He loves me with every kiss he shares,
He loves me not when at TV he stares.
 
He loves me when he brings sweet flowers home,
He loves me not when he leaves me alone.
 
He loves me when he grants my simple wish,
He loves me not when he can't wash a dish.
 
He loves me when he gives me pretty things,
He loves me not when using words that sting.
 
He loves me when we walk while holding hands,
He loves me not with habits I can't stand.
 
He loves me whenever he puts me first,
He loves me not with farts that are the worst.
 
He loves me when my honor he defends,
He loves me not when he lies and pretends.
 
He loves me when he says I'm his adored,
He loves me not when showing he is bored.
 
He loves me because I love him, you see,
I love him because he puts up with me!
