5-5-5 writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt Write a poem that has three lines. Each line has five syllables. |
Grasse in the South of France (Provence) is the heart of the perfume industry. The warm air is heavy with the fragrance of lavender. As the light disappears each evening fireflies dance and flicker, crickets chirp and cicadas stridulate (rub their back legs together) in an insect son-et-lumiere show.
