I look up in the night sky
bright stars twinkling above.
I dream of life on other planets
wondering if we are not alone.
Although I may be earthbound
my imagination takes off.
Suddenly I'm in a rocket ship
glaring out the window in awe.
I become a reporter, jotting
down all that I contact,
in my world of wonder.
