Ignorance - Rhyming Rant

did you hear the word of the frozen bird that swooped right out of the sky

with wings of ice, it was very precise and crazy how well it could fly

the story goes on when the ice was gone it revealed a hidden jewel

how it got there is a mystery I swear, but it could have been used as a tool

the jewel was clear as crystal and as pretty as it could be

where had the bird been to collect such a gem, it's a mystery for you and me

the tale goes on, the very next dawn, it flew back to where it had been

it’s sad to say that we scared it away by our ignorance, and that is a sin....

One cold morning a bird flew by and I thought it was so cold he should be frozen. So I wrote this little rhyming rant about it.
