Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
one of my favorite shows -very subversive in a way

the adventures of the squirrel

One of my favorite shows

As a kid, was a cartoon about

A flying squirrel and a moose

Sometimes it could be verbose.

They were constantly battling spies

Counter-spies, and evildoers

Working for the government

Or for the unnamed bad guys.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The series was subversive

Could be read as a satire

Of the cold-war hysteria

In fact, it could be perversive

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The writers were from my hometown  

Were Berkeley High School

Alums but 15 years my senior

But from my town.
