Inspiring

Favorite TV Series Contest Winner 
 
As Doctor's go, he was the best,
a diagnostic genius.
He saw things in a different light,
thus saving lives, both day and night.
 
A mentor took him under wing,
more like a son and father thing.
A surgeon he would soon become,
though trust in him was quite undone.
 
Words for him, would sometimes halt,
his condition was at fault.
He had no filter, wore no mask,
no diplomacy at that task.
 
But he was brilliant, a savant,
a surgeon you would surely want.
His colleagues finally came around,
respected him, he gained renown.
 
He wanted to help others live,
there was so much that he could give.
His life's journey, this was about,
quite gifted he was, there is no doubt.
