A fable about an all seeing all knowing guy

Eagle Eyed Johnny

by nomi338

They used to call him Eagle-Eyed Johnny.

With a glance, he’d count your money.

He’d look at your belly and know your lunch,

Not the amount, but he’d have a hunch.

He’d peer into your eyes, and read your mind,

Gauge your stance, to see if you were kind.

In a fight, he could predict your fall,

With your partner, foresee the next squall.

Old Johnny’s gone now, they say he left humming,

A smile on his face, because he saw the end coming.
