Lets do it
Please Do Not Disturb

The do not disturb sign has been greatly overlooked. It’s evolution in society has stalled to a point of utter stagnation. To limit its use to door handles is crazy to me. There are people, myself included, who walk around hoping not to be disturbed. Only problem is, I don’t have a sign to rightly express that desire.
Therefore, more often than not, I am disturbed by what goes on around me. If only I could have perhaps a large pin to put on that says “do not disturb”, so I can walk around knowing that I won’t be disturbed. Maybe then, I can have a peaceful time out. It’s a sign that’s says ‘hey, im not in right now, come back later and I might be able to give you what you need but right now, I’d rather not be disturbed’.
I think the progress of the DND sign has slowed to a crawl because to walk around with one on would take everyone coming to agreement and following suit. It sounds silly but we’ve never tried.
Ok, now I feel better...
