To dwell too long in the land of happiness and observations.

Happy little tummy of glee

by Chip Whitley

Upwards effervescence, tummy of glee,

How wonderfully ridiculous happiness can be!

It fills you with fright, and sometimes delight,

Sometimes when you’re right, or like winning a fight!

Intoxicating whispers of altered reality,

Rosy tinting fills your vision and wondrous roses inhabit all noses.

Masquerading and fleeting, this, no one supposes.

We stay as we can, we stay as we might,

But all must end like it came - in a flight!

We return to our senses, once off that cloud.

To visit, delightful.

To stay, frightful.

This knowledge, insightful.

The mystery is as old as history,

No need to tarnish it cynically,

Just enjoy its stay,

Don’t Inquisit its visit.

But let it not whisk you away for more than a day,

At minimum, the ground is happy to have you to stay!

Jubal captured notes,

While we capture moments.

Some write sonnets and others, composers.

We all have a gift to bring and to sing,

Mesmerizing happiness, a confounding sting!

Don’t forget to ring,

Sorrow, we won’t bring,

Stay there as you like,

Stay on your adolescent bike,

Until you feel something’s not right,

Happy ending, educated tyke.
