This work has reached the exceptional level
free verse

The Titan

by mermaids

the seas arise

as he wanders 
the earth
 
a titan of old
reminds us
 
to care for our
earthly home
 
he returns 
to fight the
evil creatures
 
give him
his due
 
no longer 
a monster
now the
lizard king
