The years roll by, but Karen rolls on...

How's Dear Karen Fairin'?

by Reese Turner

You shoulda known Karen back in the day.

That gal could find a party and she’d stay!

Loved loud music and dance

Halter tops and tight pants

Other gals couldn’t keep up – just no way!

.

Oh, but time passes, the years roll on by

And the miles start to show, they don’t lie

There’s a hint at some sagging

But, no hint in her nagging,

And she now describes herself as “quite spry”…

.

Shall we raise a toast to this lady’s good living?

And where she has “mellowed”, let’s be forgiving

There’s still a spark in her eye

At a party, you bet she’ll try -

With absolutely no intention of quitting!

Happy Birthday contest entry

There's "not counting" and there's "lost count" and there's "count what?" Karen has used all those excuses and more concerning her age. Ask her... Expect an answer like, "Bon Temps Roulet!"
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
