always alone as memories of her fade away
Anonymous Solitude
In the depths of my solitude, I find no peace,
With thoughts of love and memories yonder.
For in my heart, a flame of love once burned,
But now she's gone, distant and out of sight.
As I sit here daily alone, my heart is breaking,
For in my foolishness, I willingly let her go.
The lingering pain and agony never subsided,
For this state of perturbation is mine alone.
I'm a deserving victim of my self-discontent,
Bearing the burden of my rueful lonliness.
Wallowing in a state of anonymous solitude,
A man of endless woe with no hope of a cure.
My heart still aches, with every passing day,
Endlessly wandering in dark shadows alone,
Awaiting the last memory of her love to die.
