Endless

Sun rises,
    this day is broken . . . 
 
   I sigh and rise.
      Everything in place
with no one here to make a mess.
    A glance through junk mail
       with my morning tea.
Wandering aimlessly room to room~
        no inspiration,
        nothing draws interest,
        no one to call,
        no one to visit.
Listless dinner, cheese and crackers.
 
Sun sets,
       this day is finished . . .
