Behind Your Eyes

A pinch of sugar
A dash of spice
Oh what joy 
You bring to my life
 
You make me smile
You make me glad
I've learned to appreciate
The blessings I have
 
My world was shattered
My world was rocked
When I learned the truth
Of who you are
 
The graphic details 
The graphic deeds
That drained to death
A hundred souls
 
How could I not see
How could I not know
The monster behind
Your charming eyes
