A Bad Day to Buy Groceries

Tina began to round the end cap and enter the next aisle when she saw him. He had his back to her, but she still recognized him. Her ex. She tried to back up, but she wasn't fast enough. He turned and raised the gun. She just had time to register that she was going to die. She heard the explosion. She felt the bullet hit her in the chest, and then there was nothing.
