Jealousy is a complex emotion.

The Green Eyed Monster

Jealousy is a malicious thing
Rendered by one with a wounding sting
Rises from a world of loathsome dreams
Conjuring up spiteful, hurtful schemes

Used by haters' with a jaundiced eye
Wishing even a person might die
Their blood running incredibly cold
Actions conceived by a blackened soul

Pray for these souls, to mend their vile way
Pray their green monsters will fade away
For jealousy is mean, sharp and raw
People must conquer this major flaw
