‘You’re putting on weight,’ my friend Lucy told me.
‘No, I’m not. I’ve weighed the same for three years. My diet hasn’t changed at all. Besides, not everybody has to look like you.’
I love Lucy, but she’s always finding fault with everyone. She says Georgina’s too hairy.
Finally, on Monday I’d had enough. ‘Not everyone can be tall and slender like you. You’re a giraffe, I’m a hippo. And poor Georgina is a gorilla!’
