forget the other side of the fence
Jealousy
When other’s grass does seem so much greener
Watch your tongue, actions, guard your demeanor
Satan fell, so don’t be a repeater
You’ll find caution and tact are much sweeter
Jealousy thrives in sun and in the rain
Jealousy is the tare that kills the grain
Jealousy surges through, causing much pain
Jealousy ignites hatred in our brain
Jealousy is a bad habit that’s learned
When common sense is rejected and spurned
All other solutions are ceased and burned
When wretched thoughts gain life and are discerned
Everyone has a Talent we should know
Sharing them is what makes all of us grow
Anything else causes us to sink low
With God’s direction, smooth waters will flow
