Have you ever sat and thought,

why do we all ignore

knowing that our time

can never be restored.

It simply rolls along.

Hold it still, you just cannot.

More precious than the rarest gold,

yet never can be bought.

We call it time well spent,

just like a currency.

We say it for the time we give

is never given free.

We spend it without thought,

with that there comes a cost.

When you give some of your time,

it's a piece forever lost.

Will it be spent recklessly

on things that will not last?

Deep inside you've always known

time's budget is spent fast.

Think about the price

before you spend a dime.

No amount of gold

will ever replace time.

Money can be made,

replaced after it's spent.

You'll never get back time,

even if it's only lent.

So before you spend a dime,

ponder on this thought.
