Temptation

Everyone is born with some knowledge of

what is right and what is wrong

Mostly, we are tought from a young age

what we can and cannot do

but ultimately we all want to test the limits

to take advantage of free will

Even though Conscience keeps us in check

the Other Voice seems to continue, louder

The war between good and evil

it is constantly fought in the battlefields

of our hearts and minds

Good is simply Good, but Evil

Evil seems luxurious

Praise be to God who always makes a way to follow good!
