Strong swimming saved the day.
Surprise Splash
by HarryT
Sea-swimming, Susie silently stroking, suddenly, surprising, scary splash! Startled, she spun, searching. Sinister savage, sleek, shiny, silver skin shark surfaced, shrewdly, streaking straight, seeking Susie.
She screamed, “Shark!”
Susie sprinted, swimming skillful, strenuous, strident, strong strokes. Spleenful shark slowly swiveled, swam seabound.
Savvy Susie, surprisingly smiling, sloshed, sandy shore safe.
