Circus Rivals

Tommy Tucker, topping the tightrope, teetered tentatively.

"Tension tapering," thought troubled Tommy, trembling.

Ticker thumping, Tommy tiptoed timidly, traversing the tightrope.

Then! Terror! Tottering, tripping, tilting, toppling.

Tumbling tragically towards the tough, thick terrain.

Thud! Thoroughly traumatised, Tommy tried to think temperately.

Two-timing Theresa. Tart!

Teddy Tufnell, twisted trapezist, tirelessly tailed Theresa Tucker.

Tuesday. Theresa talked teasingly, tantalising Teddy.

Thursday. Teddy tweaked Tommy's tightrope.

Tinkering, tampering.

Today? Tommy tumbles. "Terrific!" trumpeted Teddy triumphantly.
Temptress Theresa? Teddy's trophy!

Temporarily? Transiently? Till tomorrow?
