a debate that will live in infamy
Two Men On The Stage
I did not rejoice
At a halting voice
The strongest leader
Now truth’s impeder
Two men on the stage
One with righteous rage
One so strange onstage
To all, showing age
Confused and so dim
All felt sad for him
Could not complete thought
While the other fought
Two men on the stage
One with righteous rage
One so strange onstage
To all, showing age
One seemed a sad joke
Would he have a stroke?
Do we trust our eyes?
-Just say the other lies!
Two men on the stage
One with righteous rage
One so strange onstage
To all, showing age
I thought one would faint
While one showed restraint
Will one step aside?
Will one earn our pride?
Two men on the stage
One with righteous rage
One so strange onstage
To all, showing age
