Even In The Darkness

Even in the darkness there is light.

On the dim path there is bright.

In bitterness there is sweet,

Though learning is a rough road,

It finds a peaceful retreat.

In sad times there is joy

For tears will fall when we destroy

The works of death and sin,

Before new life in us begins.

In losing there is gain,

In being stripped sometimes the best remains.

Even in the darkness there is light,

And the soon disappearance of an endless night.
