Looking for signs.

Guessing

by Shirley Ann Bunyan

Can you see what I want. Can you tell by my eyes?
If I said it out loud would it be a surprise?
Am I prone to delusion? Do I fantasise?
Am I looking for jewels in a bucket of ice?
There are signs you have given, a stance that implies
you feel something. Just say it. What is it with guys?
Do I have to keep guessing, suspect, analyse.
Are we friends or pre-lovers. It’s time. Vocalise.
