A mono-rhyme poem

Lost then Found

by kahpot

a girl here sits no life to quote
to loneliness she must devote
the outside world has stamped her note
that cast her far in drifting boat

as future reads what past times wrote
in drowning thought she felt remote
yet stayed her death 'pon oceans vote
where depths below steal life's warm coat

God told her then while still afloat
when darkness comes, for you I'll tote
through your new world until you gloat
"my hands are firmly 'round life's throat"
