It's just one of those days!
Murder of a Manuscript

The Writer's Club posted its Book of the Month nominees.
Jake, a top writer, hoped for the prestigious honor, but despite his efforts, he wasn't chosen.
Frustrated, he grabbed a knife and wildly slashed his latest manuscript.
From the mailman's vantage point, he saw a murder. In a panic, he called 911.
Police Officers burst into Jake's home, guns drawn. Instead of a crazed maniac, they found shredded pages and a disgruntled writer.
The town soon heard the tale and laughed. Jake, now known as the "Literary Lunatic," embraced his new reputation and continued writing with fervor.
