A wizard conjures a spell for a young suitor.

A Spell in Time

by HarryT

A kindly wizard saw a young man weep
He knew in a second the young man’s pain
In a disappointed suitor, emotions are deep
A refusal of love can make a wooer feel insane

So, the wizard, spun a loving heartfelt rhyme
For the young lover to sing to his lady desire
A spell promising to make her heart chime
Wizard said, “Sing soft, her love you’ll acquire

The young suitor sang the wizard loving spell
His lady’s heart swooned, said she was mistaken
“Oh, sir, forgive me, I’ll join you on life’s carousel
I promised my love will be ardent and unshaken

The wizard knew his spell would not fail
He attended the marriage of the couple
