Writing Prompt Write a poem that follows the 5-7-5 syllable count. The first line of your poem should have 5 syllables. Second line should have 7. The final line will have 5 again. |
I hope no one misunderstands. I love entering 5-7-5 contests. It's just that this form gets so stuck in my head that everything I write seems to come out in this format.
