We who died because of war,

honor those who loved us more,

than anything there is to keep.

For we have now fallen asleep.

Because of our love for everyone

whose hearts remain in Christ the Son,

he who provides our every need,

created the mountains and the sea,

we the dead died for these.

We paid the price

so you are free,

despite the urge we had to flee.

Now on earth I treasure more,

the love of christ than ever before.

He died for my every need

and his love brings peace to those in need.

So when you cry 'cause no one cares

remember someone died for your welfare.
