Take a bow

by Terry Reilly

A lonely young codling named Ken
vowed he'd never swim naked again.
Sammy the sole
stood out from his shoal
by wearing cravats now and then.

Harry the popular herring
drew glances by what he was wearing.
His tie was a kipper
attached by a zipper,
enhancing his piscean bearing.

So Kenneth acquired a bow tie,
reflecting the glint in his eye.
Schools of cute lasses
swamped him with passes
and whistled whene'er they swam by.

Silly writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a silly rhyming poem about a fish that wears a bow tie. The rhyme scheme should be AABBA.

OK. The punning is pretty bad. It is meant to be silly.
Also, I hope to be granted poetic license in respect of the approximate rhymes in the second stanza. Come on guys. Cut me some slack.
