Humorous poem on the joy of Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart!

by Idawiesenfeld

From barbecues to colored bikes,
From rubber ducks to useless spikes,

Wal-Mart feeds your heart with awe,
Even for this cheap banana printed straw.

Stuffed trolleys roll down alleys in every way,
Heads of toys and packs of clay,
Whizz down stocked plastic lanes,
Overflowing with pools and modular airplanes.

Kids rummaging in a toy gallery,
A real children's fantasy.
Pinatas, dolls, scooters and even puffed up guys,
They can't wait to find out what to buy,
With their crisp 50 dollar bill...
Behind their sulking parents who's money just got grilled.

They bounce the ball,
Ride the bikes,
Jump the trampoline,
And even try out a golden tambourine!!

Strange bobbing clowns,
Screws, hammer and bows,
Violins to toy pianos,
Deck the walls,
Each begging in a silent prayer,
"BUY ME!"
"PICK ME!"

Everything you ever wished to have,
Will be found in the mess of stuff,
Ever made on this entire Earth!
