Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
A trilonnet

Adding to My Scrapbook

I close my eyes and I can feel


those special moments from the past


that warm my heart and make me smile.


I flip the pages for awhile ~


this mental scrapbook I've amassed ~


that through the years feel so surreal.


On hindsight, old days seem ideal ~


those good times we had hoped would last


reality cannot defile.


However, I shall now compile


new memories that can be classed


and saved 'fore Time breaks in to steal.



Embrace each day with open mind.


Love what's ahead ~ not just behind.
