Two robins came by to greet.
Though they did not make a tweet.
They hopped around in search of crumbs.
A job for which they had succumbed.

Two robins came by unannounced.
How pompously they flounced.
For what was to be a brief affair.
Made possible by the winter air.

Two robins came by before light.
It was an unusual sight.
But a most welcome one indeed.
I just hope they were able to feed.
