Common Yet Precious

common, yet precious

milkweed blanketing green grass ~

monarch's pot of gold








The monarch butterfly cannot survive without milkweed. They are the sole host of these butterflies. Monarchs lay their eggs on the flowers and the caterpillars feed on the leaves. Milkweed is their lifeline.
