Butterflies dance, memories twirl
Lost my best friend, my heart in a whirl
Kidneys failed, a battle lost
Leaving me alone, counting the cost

Silent whispers carried by the breeze
Your laughter lingers, memories freeze
Forever missed, forever free
My best friend, watching over me.
