Some need their a.m. coffee, I need my tea.

Sweet Start

I put honey in my morning tea;
It soothes, preserves, and comforts me.
I also use cinnamon
to dunk my tea bags in.
Breakfast tea-Earl Grey
starts off each day,
good to the
last, sweet,
drop!

Nonet Poetry writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a nonet poem. It's a simple format. A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes with just one syllable. It can be on any subject and rhyming is optional.


I used to be a coffee drinker, but found a love for tea with honey, cinnamon, & cream--brightens my morning & prepares me for the day ahead.
