Every day Grand Central Station
Is the busiest location
All the people passing through
Turnstile No. 602:

Union plumbers, electricians
Actresses and street musicians
Macy's shoppers with their loot
Traders in a business suit

Esoteric cartoon writers
Graveyard shifts and fire fighters
Bakers from the donut shops
Vice and undercover cops

Denizens the Lower East Side
3 AM they're taking a ride
Billboard models 6 feet tall
Wearing Van's, they're off the wall

Every day down in Grand Central
Leave the highrise and the rental
All the people passing through
Turnstile No. 602
