Keep Doing This

by nomi338

Man’s commonality is no fallacy,

We are descended from the same tree.

You indeed are my brother,

Adam is our father; Eve is our mother.

So then why should we hate each other?

Hate is a sin that enslaves,

it condemns men to untimely graves.

But Glory Hallelujah, blood of Jesus Christ saves!

Every year we commemorate a sacrifice so great.

Observing the last meal that he ate,

Before his death upon a wooden stake,

Dark red wine and unleavened cake.

We obey the command down through history,

“Keep doing this in remembrance of me.”

Luke 22:19
