Womenâ??s Piece Of Peace
by Kristen Rose Ulrich
Every woman I adore,
Ones who live now,
And ones who lived before,
Even ones not yet born,
Will feel the pain,
Will feel the scorn,
Of a biased world,
That is difficult indeed,
Where a woman can’t want,
And can only need,
Are men the enemy?
Certainly not.
But when it comes to their mothers,
They have surely forgot,
Not all men definitely,
But some I am sure,
Have let their wives go unnoticed,
And have not been pure,
Thankfully feminism,
Has brought us very far,
We can have any job we choose,
And own our own car,
We can fly high into the sky,
And land on the moon,
And not always worry,
If our baby has the right spoon,
Certainly there is more left to explore,
There is more to delve into,
So let’s let these matters wash ashore.
