Free Verse of Faith...

Blessed

Any breath I take makes me aptly aware
being alive is via God's higher power.
My prayers are for family, friends and
those in harm's way...God be merciful.
Each waking day finds me grateful and
humble for another 'free will' thought.
Every resting night allows some respite
in hopes tomorrow sees fit to invite me.
In spite of all trials, tests and tribulations,
I have been and continue to be blessed
