A Lover's plans abruptly halted
Was It Murder?

The farm truck's dirty lights provided ambiance. The stars, a cooler, a blanket, and Sara made it perfect.
"Come on, Babe." His hand tugged the hem of her skirt. "Join me. It's nice and cozy."
"Maybe we should —"
"Do less talking."
"It's so dark." She gasped, "What's that?"
"An owl."
Sara sank to her knees. Benny unbuttoned her shirt. His lips pressed against her neck. "This will be a night to remember."
"Oh, my God, Benny." She trembled.
Pleased, he moaned, "I'm just getting started."
Wide-eyed, she screamed.
A figure dangled from the tree.
Benny snarled, "It's a scarecrow!"
