sunsets

The sun sets
In the western sea .

 
A fiery ball of light
Slowly sinking
Into the sea.

 
As the sky turns
A brilliant red
And the clouds.
Turn to gold

 
And the world
Is bathed 
In a warm glow.

 
As the sun sets
In the Yellow sea
Off of Gangwha Island
In South Korea.

 
The sunset is my 
Favorite time of the day
As I contemplate 
The setting sun.

 

I turn to my wife

And we drink

A glass of red wine.

Celebrating the sunset

And another day

Together.

In our own paradise

Of love.
